What You’ll Deliver
 

Mobile App Integration

Implement Apple HealthKit integration in React Native

Handle iOS permissions & background data sync (heart rate, sleep, steps, HRV)
 

Backend

Adapt health data pipeline for Apple Watch format

Update endpoints and reporting as needed
 

Release 

Apple Developer Account setup & TestFlight distribution

Production-ready deployment for pilot use
 

Required Skills 

• React Native + iOS with proven HealthKit integration experience

• Backend API development (Go or similar strongly preferred)

• Apple App Store publishing (EAS / TestFlight)

• Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS or equivalent)

• Knowledge of health data compliance (HIPAA / PIPEDA)

• Based in Canada

• Available full-time 4 days between Sept 10–25, 2025
   

Compliance​

• Developer must follow best practices for security, privacy, and data protection.

• Payment is tied to successful delivery of the full product, pilot-ready (milestone-based, not time-based).
